Focuses on understanding how children ages 2 ½ years through 5 learn sight (color, dimension and shapes), hearing (tone and pitch), touch (texture, weight, temperature, size and shape), smelling and tasting.

Purpose of the Apparatus

1. Constructive Triangles – Learn the different names and shapes and combine to form other shape.
2. Broad Stair – Preparation for mathematics. Visual and muscular perception of dimension
3. Pink Tower – Development visual and muscular perception of dimension. Preparation for mathematics.
4. Baric Tablet – Ability to make fine discrimination of weight.
5. Knobbed Cylinders – Child learn to judge size by sight. Develops coordination of movement. Preparation for mathematic.
6. Red Rod / Long Rod – Develop visual and muscular perception of dimension

CULTURAL STUDIES

Children have a great curiosity about the world we live in. Without a good knowledge of Cultural Studies it will be impossible later on to get a clear idea of History, Economics and Natural Science. We may consider Cultural Studies as the foundation for the other parts of knowledge, and it is a subject in which the children show great interest.

Purpose of the Apparatus
1. Globe – Land and Water: Prepare the child for more advanced globes where the earth is covered with land and water.
Description: water area smooth surfaced and painted blue. Land area rough surfaced is colored brown.
2. Puzzle Map: The puzzle map is presented first as a simple sensory-level for young children and later the name of the country.
Description: Different colors painted represent different country.
